Privacy Policy
Last updated 23 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Noizee Media collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
Noizee Media is a trading name of Oliver Exley, a sole trader, of Unit 7, Works 22, Bennett Road, Highbridge, Somerset TA9 4PW (VAT GB 329 419 975). We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact us at hello@noizee.media or on 01278 555 007.
What we collect, and why
| When | What | Why (lawful basis) |
|---|---|---|
| You send us an enquiry through a form on this site | Your name, email address, and anything you choose to add: phone number, company, your message | To reply to you and discuss work you have asked about (legitimate interests, and steps you ask us to take before a contract) |
| You email or call us | Your contact details and what you tell us | To respond and, if we work together, to deliver the work (legitimate interests; contract) |
| You visit the site | Basic technical data our hosting provider processes to serve and protect the site, such as your IP address and browser type | To keep the site working and secure (legitimate interests) |
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything you wouldn't expect.
Invoice links
When we email you an invoice, the “View invoice” link goes through our website before it opens the invoice. When you open it, we record the time it was opened, your approximate region and country, your device type and browser, and a scrambled code made from your IP address, device type and browser. The code is unique to that one invoice link and is used only to tell different viewers of that link apart. We do not store your IP address itself, and we use no cookies or tracking pixels. The link then opens your invoice on QuickBooks (Intuit), which has its own privacy policy. We do this for credit control, on the basis of our legitimate interests, and we delete these records after 13 months at the latest. You can object at any time; see “Your rights” below.
Cookies and tracking
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add any in future, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary security cookie to protect the site from abuse.
Who we share it with
Only with the service providers that run this site and our email, under their data-processing terms:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes visit data to serve and secure it.
- Resend delivers the enquiry form message to our inbox.
- Google Workspace hosts our email.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to work are kept for up to 2 years, then deleted. If we work together, we keep project and billing records for as long as the law requires, normally 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or send it to someone else. Email hello@noizee.media and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
